It'd be nice to have a few being a London club, no?

9. do i need more? well im not sure i agree with the majority of what u have said, so maybe yeah.

10. when did i say i would pay the asking price for him?

barry would be a good signing in my opinion. he would slot straight in alongside cesc in i recon.

would you pay £18 million for flamini? because that's what the're asking for an inferior model. christ you don't deneilson or song or diarby can do that job? £18million plus wages you're out of your mind. also remember this helb was on £35,000 and skill wise barry could'nt even spell his. FFS

i would pay more than 18 mil for flamini. and yes he is inferior to flamini, but so are pretty much all of the players in europe that play his position. lets face it, if he has a season with milan like he had with us last term he will pretty much be one of the best in the world no doubt. and im not sure about song diaby or denilson yet, only time will tell after a good run in the side. Im not sure why you are comparing hleb with barry.. 2 completely different different players who play different positions.

Linked with Xavi Alonso now... doubt the truth to this, but he is a player I rate very highly.

Nah because he is a very very good passer of the ball and an intelligent player. Not sure he'd fit in here but I like him.

Okay, lets say we sign him.

We get another leader in the team which we maybe lack at the moment. Plus his experience could be crucial at moments where we have just taken the lead and need to calm down. He can fit into our game because he is a very good passer, and he can drop deep and allow Cesc to do his thing as well as push forward. He can take good free kicks and corners plus he is intelligent. He lacks pace but not energy. He might not be good enough in the air though, and he is very very expensive... I wouldn't want to pay that much for him but he could do very well in the squad. Plus he gives us much needed options at left back and left wing.

He is way too expensive... Villa are right to judge him that highly because he is way better than Hargreaves/Carrick who went for 17m. I can't see us getting him because he is so pricey, but if he did then he would be a good player. We've made enough money down the years to be able to buy one who is quite pricey. However I want Diaby to start next to Cesc, so just need some back-up for him imo.
