Confirmed on multiple sources, this article from ESPN:

ESPNsoccernet.com wrote:
Barcelona forward Ronaldinho will sign for AC Milan on Wednesday in a deal that is worth €21 million, possibly rising to €25millon.

'AC Milan and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Ronaldinho,' the Italian club said in a statement.

'The player will be in Milan tomorrow to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will keep him at Milan until June 30 2011.'

Milan will hope the medical passes without a hitch as they are thought to be determined to unveil Ronaldinho on the same day their squad begins pre-season training.

Reports in the Italian media claim the Brazilian international's brother, and agent, Roberto de Assis has agreed a €6.5million contract with the Rossoneri to match what Ronaldinho currently earns in Catalonia.

The Serie A side, who finished fifth last season and will be in the UEFA Cup this term, beat off competition from English Premier League club Manchester City for the 28-year-old.

Ronaldinho spent five years at the Nou Camp, helping Barca win the Champions League in 2006 and their domestic title in 2005 and 2006.

The Brazilian playmaker was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 but has been allowed to leave Barcelona after suffering form and fitness problems last season.

Ronaldinho's capture would put an end to Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor's hopes of moving to Milan. Galliani has previously stated that only Adebayor or Ronaldinho would end up at San Siro.

Coincidentally, Adebayor has now been linked with Barca in the media.

Although Milan are thought to have offered only €21 million, much less than the €32 million Premier League side Manchester City were reported to have bid, Ronaldinho's wish to go to Milan rather Manchester was the deciding factor.

Barca sports director Txiki Begiristain said: 'The principle of agreement finally established a transfer fee of €21 million, plus four million more in the form of performance-related bonuses depending on AC Milan's qualification, in future years, for the Champions League.

'This agreement in principle was reached thanks to the player renouncing his right to 15% of the fee.'

Galliani, who has chased the Brazilian for three months on and off, flew to Barcelona at the start of the week and has been in talks with Barca and the player for the past two days.

Ronaldinho could walk into an immediate row at Milan given his wish to represent Brazil at next month's Beijing Olympics.

Barca had refused to release him for the Games and Milan could make the same decision having already stopped compatriot Kaka from going to China.

Ronaldinho will join Mathieu Flamini, Gianluca Zambrotta, Marco Borriello, Christian Abbiati and Luca Antonini as new faces at Milan this season.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has said he wants to play Ronaldinho alongside Kaka in a Christmas tree formation behind a striker.

Should speed up the Hleb and Ade sagas now.

Milan have an interesting looking team now!

I thought at one point, Milan had said, "Ade or Ron." Now that they've got Ron, I'm hoping they'll drop the Ade efforts.

I can't see Barca going for Ade...where the hell are they going to fit him in?!

Hleb will probably head out now, though. 'Bout time...let's get the money and get a new CM with it.

Barca would probably look to play him along side Henry and Messi, and alternate Bojan in and out with Henry/Messi if/when needed. Would add another dimension to their game.

Milan are still on the look-out for a leading striker... Ade is exactly what they need... With the service of Kaka/Ronaldinho/Pirlo he'll be smashing them in. And AC are used to born-offside strikers [Inzaghi]

Ideally Ade stays... and if he goes I don't really want to see £20m spent on a CDM.

I think Ade will stay. As I said in the transfer thread, but I wonder how joyfully he will be hailed by fans when his name gets announced, eh?? Maybe a little bit of stick?? I'm gald the boss held tough with him. I mean he is the effing boss after all.

Maybe Ade'll be a bit more humble now? Maybe nicer to Bendtner?

...or maybe he will just sulk. The problem I think is that Ade has been made to think that he is god's gift to Arsenal ... I think his staying will only cause more unrest in the team ... as much as I am for stability Ade's behavior this summer has really pissed me off .. . :s_mad (and I dont believe everything written in the press but there's no smoke without fire)

Even if he has to stay and scores good number of goals the next season it will be the same story ... I say just get rid of these no-good-blabber-mouths.... one is gone (Hleb) and Ade to follow ....

I dont care if they "could have" won the EPL for us ... if they dont wanna be here .. out you go ... !!!

I think Ade's problem has been his agent. Ade is "easily led," to put it kindly. Once yu start believing your own hype, you are doomed.

He had 30 goals and suddenly people are telling him he's the next Thierry Henry. So he gets a massive ego and wants more money either here or elsewhere. AW hard balls it with him (and good thing). Whatever happens, I think Ade will have learned his lesson and we won't hear this nonesense any more.

Once again, to be fair, there was very little nonsense we heard from Ade himself.

Most of it was his agent...and we all know that agents can A) never shut the hell up and B) be controlled in any large measure by their charges.

wow Ac getting worse than chelsea about the midfield lol.
Ronaldinho, Kaka', Seedorf, Pirlo, Flamini, Gattuso, Emerson, Gourcuff, Ambrosini, Brocchi.
i mean wow lol.

Seedorf stated: "Ronaldinho is no good for us because we have many other players for the same position.

“I think the team have other needs, but I am not responsible for the signings."

no champions league for milan hahah

Flam'll end up riding the bench, looking at that lineup.
