Milan had previously stated that they would only sign one player this summer, and following the arrival of Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho, they have reaffirmed that position.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani told a news conference: "The market for Milan is closed with Ronaldinho.

"As far as arrivals are concerned, we are finished, absolutely."

That's actually really huge news, leaving only Barca as the only team that has a shot at Ade (outside of a new name like Real or Inter joining the picture).

If this is true, I'm a happy man. I've been reading the Gazzetta Dello Sport for the past few days during the horse-face transfer saga, but I haven't seen this quote from Galliani on there today in all the things I have been reading. I would have a hard time believing that if Sky carried the news conference and had a translator, they got it wrong or made it up. Interesting stuff all around.

I just saw the quote on Gazzetta buried in a story about Ronaldinho. It says: "Il mercato? In entrata è chiuso" or "The market? In entrance, it is closed." This does some to indicate they are done buying, but Milan are crazy, so who knows. That said, horse-face is a striker and they really have no need to purchase another one, especially for the price we are putting on Ade.

It'd be funny if no one came in for ade, and he was left rotting on the bench for us while our other strikers won us the league....but i doubt the first part about him rotting would happen

Ade isn't going and never was.

On Milan, they lack a striker imo. Suprised they've stopped... or they have just run out of money. A midfield of Flamini, Seedorf, Pirlo, Ronaldinho and Kaka is pretty special. Probably stick Pato up top.

I'd be glad if ade goes, i used to say he's a bad man player but his lack of showing loyalty has done pissed me off,if i was an arsenal player i'd love to be there for life and wouldn't care what my wages was,just the feeling of putting on the red and white shirt and proud to be at arsenal is an honour, the team i've grown up supporting and part of me...There's no such thing as loyalty now and it's sad, one minute you see a player kiss the badge then the next you see them playing for your rivals, it's fucked up, flash a big contract with £100,000 a week in front of them and players will forget the manager and club that made them in the first place,shameful..
