at last someone in the team says what every one else can see, im sorry but if anyone things that denilson or song can carry us threw the whole season, Your deluded.

Denilson or song do not have that workability factor that flamini possesd, and its what we need in the team to free cesc up to work his magic.

ive said it once and ill say it again, if we fail to win a single thing again this season then serious questions need to be asked at board level....

too true. it seems clear to me that the board are letting the manager do his job his way. people need to ask themselves do they want that or do they want a board that is actively seen to be interferring.

I'm content with a season or two more without something, but the excuses are running thin even u have to admit that den ?

I agree with that.

AW should not make silly excuses, but sometimes he is right.

We were very close last season and with a little bit of better luck we could have won a trophy.

For me winning a trophy is not that important, of course I want us to win the lot,but my really worrying thoughts are the way football is going these days with all these billionaires buying clubs then realising that they cannot afford them. for one reason or the other. Man City, Newcastle and the spammers spring to mind.

I really don't want to see my club being taken over by anyone, even if it means we win nothing for a long while so be it. :)

i am fully against a take over, to make that clear....

I also fully believe that the difference between us and the league last year was Eduardos injury...

But we have to start delivering trophies.....

I want us to win a trophy either the league or the CL not so much for me but for AW himself.

I would love it really love it if we were to beat them.

Seriously even my boys say that we should be winning trophies and I try to explain my stance but it falls on deaf ears .

I am not saying that I am right or that anyone else is wrong about winning things as we all want and enjoy different things about going overthe Arse.

So we will have to agree to disagree on this. :s_whiteflag

Cesc Fabregas is “100 per cent” behind his manager and young team-mates believing they have the collective quality to challenge for the title once more.

The Spaniard returned to Arsenal’s training ground on Thursday afternoon with a broken nose sustained on international duty over the past week.

However the injury is unlikely to stop the 21-year-old playing against Everton on Saturday. Fabregas is the lynchpin of the Arsenal midfield and Wenger’s faithful lieutenant in a very young side.

Likewise, the self-proclaimed ‘veteran’ has unshakeable belief in the man who signed him from Barcelona five years ago – especially his confidence in younger players.

“Arsène has built an unbelievable squad here,” said Fabregas.

“We have great spirit and I have complete trust in the manager’s policy.

“Arsène is the best at giving youngsters a chance. No-one else comes close to him for that. He doesn’t care how old you are, as long as you are good enough and has the confidence to give young players a chance.

“Anything said to the contrary is simply not true and I would like to reiterate to all Arsenal supporters that I am 100 per cent behind the team and the manager.

“The future is bright,” Fabregas went on. “Players like Denilson, Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri have shown real class this season and I’m positive we have the quality to challenge for the title.

“Yes we do have a lot of young players, but they have all shown they can handle it at the top level in the Premier League and Champions League.

“It’s hard to imagine I’m one of the oldest players at the Club now but it will be a privilege to help guide some of these youngsters through.

“We’re the envy of every other club and it’s so exciting to be a part of that.”

Trophies arent the be all and end all for me personally but it can be a little frustrating when we are so close and with a little strengthening we could improve and carry on last seasons fine run. I believe there is money to spend (Arsene is no yes man) but no point buying players who are poor value for money.

One thing that certainly annoys me are some of the excuses (Sunderland), if we fuck up and dont get a result then fair enough but a few of the players are a little too comfortable imo.
