I think this will be a bust for the reason that neither Keane nor Torres (despite being strikers) are heavy shooters. If you are going to partner them up front, I have a feeling that they will defer more often than not, or at least Keane defering to Torres a heavy amount. I just don't see this working out for the Scouse.

So Sp*rs' best player and captain is gone. Fab stuff. I texted my Sp*rs mate and he ain't too chuffed. I'm going to Cheltenham Town vs Bristol City tomorrow so I shall quiz him some more and let you know what he thinks. :s_biggrin

Well, looking at this from a strictly Sp*rs-hating point of view, the loss of Keane is a greater problem to Spuds than the potential loss of Berbatov. Keane is a worker who gives everything on the pitch. Berbs sulks and hardly ever gives anything when he's off the ball.

From an Arsenal point of view, I would be more worried about Liverpool with a strengthened side than anything. Rafa must think it's his last chance to win or be axed. The partnership of Gerrard and Torres worked so well last term that I wonder how Keane would factor into that. Will Gerrard play a deeper role? Keane on the wing?? I don't know. Rafa makes some very strange decisions.

Thing with Liverpool is that they always find a way to screw things up...:D Doesn't matter who they sign, there's always that lingering thing in their heads of "when will it happen" and they psyche themselves into screwing up.

He's pretty gutted and reckons they'll struggle to score next season.

The game was a cracker and finished 1-1 btw. :s_yes
