So I was reading gazzetta.it today (gotta love the Italians for being on top of everything money wise) who have reported that due to a clause with Blackburn, Arsenal get 40% of the profits of a sale of David Bentley. As is being reported, the deal is supposed to reach somewhere in the range of 17.5 million pounds. Doing the quick math, that means that Sp*rs are essentially handing us 7 million pounds.

So if this deal goes down, which I expect it to, I must say thank you to Daniel Levy for the free cash that will allow us to go after another player. :D :s_thumbsup

I think its actually a bit less than £7 million.. Rumours are its just over £5m Which could buy us a new player or it could pay off some of our stadium.. :D

it had been reported to be 7.5 mil..(i read it somwhere) and it is 50% of the 15mil potentially rising to £17million.. one of the best thing that had happen this transfer window for me

Yeah, there really isn't any other way to describe this except as pure joy. It's free cash from scum. We did literally nothing and now Bentley has a huge target on his back after saying his heart was at Sp*rs. This really only ends well for one of the three clubs involved: ours.

Absolutely. Him and that total fucking disgrace of a "football club" deserve each other.

He was banging on about them finishing in the top 4 and the gap closing. They were 11th last season so how the thick wanker works that one out I really don't know. Fucking idiot.
