I believe in Ade... He played like he had a point to prove. Finishing was just off, but took his penalty very well. It was brave, because if he missed that, well it could have been a defining moment for him personally. As it was he buried it and almost scored an amazing goal.

Diaby was poorish today but he will be good enough.

Theo was okay, nothing special. Good game, good atmosphere for a friendly and got to see some players impress.

Can't wait to see Kolo and Cesc back in the lineup. Think how much better the squad can be! :D

kissing the badge means nothing these days

anyway enjoyed todays game better than yesterdays, and not just cos we won. Overall we were better, sharper but still a lot of work to be done, especially in front of goal. Enough of the hundred chances and nothing to show for it. LOVE Wilshere, he's brilliant! good to see Robin playing, I get excited when he does. Defence was better than yesterday and showed what they can do when they are together....and like it's been said, put Cesc and Toure back in and that's a team 8-) Diaby was disappointing, didn't do much. That's it I think. Atmosphere was a heck of a lot better today...apart from the mexican fucking wave  ...but yeh much better. Fucking LOVED seeing Eduardo walk out onto the pitch to rapturous applause...he looked kinda overwhelmed :)

On 03 August 2008 Sneijder was stretchered off in the pre-season friendly at Arsenal with a suspected cruciate ligament injury. The injury was caused by Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby. Sneijder will have an MRI tomorrow to confirm the extent of the injury. It is expected that he will be out for 3-6 months.

wow thats a shame

Good performance by the boys yesterday. Did not agree with the booin of Ade, he is playin for us and should not be booed imo.

Anyway for me MOTM was Denilson. I think I would start him ahead of Diaby after yesterdays match, Diaby was poor. Other positives were RVP and Ade working well together and also Willshire when he came on giving Salgado hell on the left. Laughed when he took Salgado out toward the end and ran off :s_biggrin Good performance, still lacking a bit of sharpness but that will come.

That was a bad tackle on second look ... Diaby is one of the worst tacklers and is probably in the "Scholes" league ... he is a good dribbler and can beat a player with the ball at his feet but his tackling is quite off ... I remember being a couple of other times besides Sneijder when this guy knocked over other players ...

As for Sneijder .... well RM have got Van Der Vaart and now they probably have more incentive to getting Ronaldo out of the EPL ... :s_yes

As far as I remember and know Ramsey was always touted as being right-footed ... Vela is left-footed of the new ones ...
