So ... Heres the team to play:

Almunia
Sagna
Toure
Gallas
Clichy
Eboue
Fabregas
Denilson
Walcott
Ade
RVP

Ramsey, Bendtner, Fabianski etc on bench ..

So first game for Fab4 and Toure .... also pretty close to our first team with the exception of Nasri who didnt travel ...

with Van Basten and Bergy on the Ajax bench (as coaches) this will be interesting ... hoping for a good game ..

Just coming back from the Stadium. Was a great 1st helft.
Great goals ajax scored.

2nd Helft. Ajax wasnt that good as before. And wher making lots of little mistakes(looked like they wher getting tired).
So Arsenal could score really easy.
I still enjoined the match...was lots of fun(also with the other ajax/arsenal supporters).:-D

Nope. www.justin.tv

There are a bunch of sports channels on it, and they usually stream Sky Sports 1, 2, and 3 with the games. All free, nothing required except to sign up.

Brilliant stuff really. Makes my life a ton easier.

It looks like Adebayor is back and after such a complete display even if you put the goals aside, only an ungrateful fan will still have more to ask of his contributions

Nice pics and vids! :s_thumbsup

that was not a classic game but it's best that happens in pre-season...a lot of players were not up to scratch. Toure and Cesc and were off but they haven't played so it's to be expected. Ade scored, yes, but he missed some easy chances! I hope he will convert more of his chances this season. Eboue did well with the cross for Ade's goal...think he'll surprise us this season  :P erm, yeh not much to say, great comeback but we never should have gone behind in the first place! But still good, hope todays result is a win as well :)

Hasn't been in training as long as everyone else, so that's certainly a possibility.

I didn't see the match, though...was he any slower or just looking bigger?

Just watched the highlights again...here are my thoughts:

1. Kolo isn't 100% yet. OK, that's not really a revelation, but he's not 100% yet. His headed clearance played right into Ajax's hands. Other than that, the defense looked solid. There was nothing Al could've done on the first goal (what a hit!), and the second goal he had very little shot at in the first place, also.

2. Adebayor has a big, fat chip on his shoulder. He's obviously realized that he's been made the bad guy this off season...now he's making up for it by some very calm, very good performances. And did anyone notice that he brought back the dreads? Good karma! :D

3. Carlos Vela is gonna be a major player this season off the bench. Just look at his goal against Sevilla. Yes, it wasn't a full strength side he was against, but his goal was fantastic, and his composure was excellent as well.

4. It's great to have Cesc back...but I'm still a little concerned about how the rest of midfield will shape up. For the start of the season, it seems like we'll have a midfield four of

Theo -- Cesc -- Denilson -- Nasri

Diaby is injured, Nasri had a minor knock so didn't come to Amsterdam. Now as the season goes on, we get Tommy Boy back, which could put Nasri alongside Cesc. Not that we don't have enough talent in the midfield, but we need to find our starter soon and stick to him so we don't have three partners for Cesc each game.
