Its because too many boards/managers give into pressure from fans/media. The majority of football fans don't have a clue what they are talking about. People seem to make the assumption, generally speaking, the more you spend the better you do. Well thats just not right - its about balance, maximising what you have and of course how you spend your money. We wasted our share on Jeffers and Richards, but I think we can safely say Arsene learnt from those mistakes and is now a far better manager than he was when he bought them.

could be further proof that arsene is so rarely wrong, he knew he couldnt give stokes 1st team football as he couldnt compete with what we have/had and sold him

I reckon we have a great manager and board unlike any other board manager. Some manager that have poor records seems to be idiot because of paying dodgy fees which is uncertain.
