Quote:
Senderos expected to complete Milan move
By Richard Clarke

The loan of Philippe Senderos to Milan should be completed soon.

The Swiss defender was linked with a move to the Rossoneri in the morning’s media. It was confirmed by Arsène Wenger at his press conference ahead of the game with FC Twente. However it is still subject to the usual formalities.

“Senderos has gone to Milan,” said the Arsenal manager. “He completes a medical today.

"The thinking is that he does not get games here and [this way he] gets top-level games somewhere. We have Kolo, Gallas, Djourou, Song and now Silvestre. We have congestion in there and we want him to play without losing him.”

Wenger was asked whether the 12-month loan would turn into a permanent deal. “It is not decided yet,” he replied.

Imagedont think he'll be coming back, I used to go and watch the reserves when senderos first arrived and was trying to make a name for himself, was quality even at that early stage. was a very good player when he had a run of games in the side. i think senderos /gallas or senderos/toure would be a better partnership than the one we have at the moment. oh well another of my favourites GONE.

Losing Senderos is no great loss...let's face it, he's been shite for two seasons.

He hasn't been quality since the CL Final run a couple seasons past.

He's only been loaned, not sold...maybe the Italians can get something out of him and he'll come back better.

Not that I necessarily have any faith that this will happen, but it's always possible...this is football, the impossible occurs every so often. :D

Nah I reckon he's gone...he's 23, he'll be 24 when the loan ends and he's gonna have to think like Hoyte, bench or first team

Tbh, I can't see him getting all that much more first team time at AC than with us. I'm just hoping that he'll get some sort of knowledge that he didn't get in his time here.

And if he does leave...uh, ok, fine, haha. :D

i'm not too sure if this is official yet. both milan and arsenal site have not come out with any official statement regarding this transfer.
