Veru worried about Clichy .... we cant AFFORD to lose him with capital A-F-F-O-R-D..... good performance though ... need to score atleast 2 more to be safe I feel .. we look very unfortable with their set-pieces ...

OK, to wrap up the first half:

We didn't deserve to go a goal down, but what a way to respond to it! The Great Dane punches in his first goal of the season, and, of all people, Emmanuel Eboue hits in his first goal of the season and the equalizer...albeit, he was apparently offsides. 'Bout damn time a blown call went our way, tbh.

So, now to the second half...Clichy has left the stadium to get x-rays taken on his ankle that was clattered into by a Bolton player. Djourou comes on, Sagna looks set to play in place of Clichy with Toure likely to take over at right back. Djourou to now partner in Gallas at the heart of the defense.

Let's hope it's just a precautionary sort of thing...but we'll just have to wait and see, for now.

Shit! Crutches...... damn.
We should have closed it out way earlier, but at least we didn't let it escape. That would have happened last season.

Clichy given all-clear after Bolton injury

Gael Clichy suffered only bruising to his shin during the game at Bolton on Saturday.

The left back went off just before half time feeling the effects of a challenge by Kevin Davies. He went to hospital for a scan but they found no fracture.

As a result, Gael was able to join up the rest of the Arsenal squad for the journey home.

VERY VERY GOOD NEWS!!! :s_yahoo

he is a very key player and it would have been a bad setback for us ... but looks like he should be ok ...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!

Great job by the squad to rush back after going down early on. Good to see some not-so-often-scorers get on the tally sheet (Eboue, Nik, Deni). I'm especially impressed with Deni, as he played well again for us. Seems like he's very keen to keep his more or less starting spot in the midfield. Good thing, too, having such a competition for the CM role

Was very pleased with the performance despite iffy patches here and there. Bolton tried stifling us but we resisted, which is a great sign! good to see three very different goal scorers, Nik can score but doesn't play regularly...and Denilson, who impresses me...and EBOUE  it's good cos we need goals from everywhere! Thought Cesc's showing signs of getting back to his best, Theo was fresh when he came on! Gutted when Clichy got injured, the commentators are cunts! but luckily he's ok...great win, top of the league! :D
